About Me & Tech Savvy Ari

Hi, I’m Arielle! A.K.A: The “Ari” behind Tech Savvy Ari.

It all started poolside in Boca Raton, Florida, when I was in college. One afternoon, a woman at my grandpa’s condo pool asked if I could help fix the ringer on her phone. “You’re the youngest here,” she said. “I figured you’d know.” That question turned into more questions, which turned into referrals, and soon enough, I couldn’t walk into the pool area without hearing someone call out, “Tech Savvy Ari is here.” The name stuck, and so did the insanely positive feeling of being able to turn something confusing into practical sense.

When moved back to my hometown (Baltimore, MD), I brought Tech Savvy Ari with me, and transferred to Stevenson University. I wasn’t sure if I’d find the same kind of connection, especially with people from a different generation, but that worry didn’t last long. Word of mouth spread quickly. I helped a blogger grow her audience, supported a personal trainer launching her fitness brand, taught a dentist how to better connect to future and current patients online, helped a luxury hair salon with their social media marketing, just to name a few (all while I worked toward my bachelor’s degree). It was a lot, but I loved it. Each individual person had their own goals and learning style. For me, I found incredible fulfillment watching each client utilize the tools I taught them during and after our time together. One thing about me is...I root for you.

In 2020, I designed and ran a digital marketing program entirely over Zoom for six assisted living facilities. Each facility picked a staff member who seemed like a good fit (all of whom were women, around the ages of 50-60's). The women I worked with were unsure at first and often said things like “I’m too old for this” or “I don’t know if I can do it.” But over time, their confidence grew; they realized they could do it. Actually, they could do it really, really well.

Each participant of the program met with me for a 1:1 meeting via Zoom, where I taught them something new each week.  The goal was to help them create content that brought joy to the residents' families and built up the facilities’ presence online. These women went from "wait, remind me how do I open up the camera?" to reading analytics and creating new marketing strategies as a result. This time was one of the most fulfilling chapters of my work. I still receive messages from those women applauding the work we did together, and how it's helped them outside of the work place, as well.

At heart, I’ve always been a creative person. I’ve had a deep passion for the arts for as long as I can remember, and years ago, I dreamed of coaching artists. So I took a chance and reached out to one of my favorite up-and-coming singer-songwriters. She and her manager agreed to a Zoom call, and within our first week working together, she gained over 10,000 followers on Instagram. In our second week, two video concepts I helped her develop went viral on TikTok, and from there, word spread throughout the artist community in Nashville. That connection led me to more creative clients and eventually inspired me to move to Nashville, where I spent the next four years growing that side of my business.

Now I’ve landed in Raleigh, North Carolina, to be closer to my family and to my favorite new little person, my nephew. The heart of Tech Savvy Ari has always been about helping people feel more confident and less alone when it comes to technology. I'm so excited to bring my services to the Raleigh area, and continue providing a zero-judgement zone for anyone who's looking to lower their heart rate when it comes to using their everyday devices. LOL.
